commercial

Commercial and industrial spaces are typically more functionally driven. They’re spaces in which commerce or production are the primary roles and the people that occupy them are there for those purposes. Yet these spaces still need to serve human needs and inspiration to maximize individual’s productivity. There’s a broad spectrum of experiential uniqueness that can be applied to these spaces from heavily branded retail to the vigilant environment of a control room. The design attributes of hospitality spaces are being applied more generally to commercial places to promote shoppers to linger longer or to create a comfortable space for workers with opportunities for intermittent breaks when putting in long hours. In all these situations integration of brand is important to remind people of where they are and for what purpose.
